Annual Validation of Customer Records

As an annual exercise for updating information in our customer management system for effective communication, invitations were sent out in November 2023 to customers using our deeds lodgement services for providing up-to-date information by completing a Customer Data Form.

For subscribers of the IRIS Online Services, a new “Change Account Particulars” function was introduced in June 2023 to facilitate them to update their account particulars at their fingertips. Customers are welcome to make use of the newly introduced function for updating their records whenever necessary.

Title Registration

Title Registration

We continue to actively prepare the implementation of the title registration system on newly granted land first (“new land first” proposal).

We are working closely with the Department of Justice to prepare the legislative amendments to the Land Titles Ordinance (Cap. 585). Other preparatory work, including development of a new computer system, is also underway. We will continue to engage key stakeholders to work out the implementation details and aim to introduce the legislative amendments into the Legislative Council within 2024.
